Happy Hunting

Well, I'll never forget the first time (after I got married) I saw a similar sign that read "we interrupt this marriage for hunting season" - enough said. You wives with hunters know how that feels! We do make it a family event every year and it's always so fun to be out there "studying" the deer and their behavior in the wild! :) It's such a reminder how wonderful God created nature to be - watching the sun rise, the cold weather, the momma deer that has babies behind her that will get only soo far away from her before they ruuun to catch up, the bucks that bow up to each other and fight! It's really fun to see.

This year the boys went to hunt on Youth Weekend (as usual) and I would say that it was a huge SUCCESS! (Sorry for the gore!)

On another note... Lex and I were able to spend a wonderful weekend with my sister and her girls! We are Harvest Festival'd OUT! Can we just skip out on Halloween?!? Lex's Halloween costume is a whole other post in itself! :)
