Dreamy Days

With the weather feeling "spring-like" this last week we couldn't help but spend alot of our time outdoors. We all love spending some time in nature. We made a family trip to the cabin to go on nature walks, fish, ride four wheelers (& make a new four wheeler trail), & soak up some sunshine! Ry is just in his element when we go there. He brought his BB gun, my pellet gun, & his .22 just in case he needed to hunt something. I won't post any pics, but let's just say that there were some poor birds that didn't have a good day that day.



Mimi had the bright idea to check out a place that she had seen - daffodil land, better known as Lee Gardens! It was beautiful & could not have been a better day. Let me just say that daffodils are SO cool when you look at them up close - I tried to get a pic to capture that.




Too bad the kids were not really dressed for the occasion, but we managed to snap a few shots of them in the fields - only before we were told to "not bring the kids through the daffodils please" by a worker!! HA!



I'm off to bed to retire this body from lots of fun and even some work I did in my flower beds (as I was inspired by the daffodils) this evening because tomorrow night there will be SEVEN people sleeping in my house.... only two of those seven will be adults!!!

By the way, take notice of the BRIGHT pink glittery new headband that Lex insists goes with EVERYTHING!!! It's been in all my recent posts in case you haven't noticed!! LOL I guess to her pink is the new black!! :)
