Rain Rain Go Away...

Is it ever going to quit raining? I'm getting tired of the coldness & wetness. Don't get me wrong... I like it to be cold when it's supposed to be cold.

In spite of the gloomy weather, there are a few things that still brighten my day!

1. These two... for sure...



2. This song... and the singer... John Legend. Actually, just about any song he sings b/c I'm a fan!

3. Listening to him on my new Ipod I got a day or so (my other quit workin' forever ago & I've had to run with my lil' shuffle)!


4. Wearing my new brown Nine West down jacket that I got @ Macy's on sale for half of half of half of half of half.... or something like that... :) I needed that BAD... I didn't even KNOW how bad I needed that & I LOVE it! (I couldn't find it on the web, but it looks kinda like this one...)


5. Ry bringing home straight up straight A's on his report card yesterday! Way to go smarty pants! He sure is taking after his momma! ;)


6. Lex having good news today... she learned how to TIE A SHOE! One of those BIG milestones in life!! Hurray!



7. Last, but not least... these little pictures the kids just made in honor of the snow that they woke up (so wishfully) thinking was going to be on the ground this morning & wasn't. Yes, those are snowmen made out of socks. Man, it was rare, but I can remember waking up to snow when I was little. Even ice is exciting in Texas. I have to admit, BT & I were wishfully thinking we'd awake to see a little white on the ground & roofs... what were we thinking? I'm praying for snow for my kiddo's sake!
