Monday Mentality

TWO MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL! YEAH! I'm going to have a third grader... and a Kindergartener. Wow. I just had a moment... maybe a split second... where I typed that & felt a little "older." LOL This last week flew by like I knew it would!

* Speaking of getting older (hee hee)... we celebrated BT's dad's birthday this week. Thought I'd share some of the photos from the celebration! :)


* The kids & I went to the local Organic Farmers Market and LOVED it. We were so glad we went. When we were on our way there we were discussing what we hoped to find. Lexie hoped to find carrots, I was hoping for blackberries, and Ry was hoping for the little new potatoes... we found them all and more! There was a violinist playing as we were walking up and there they were... the BIGGEST carrots I've EVER seen! Lex was so excited and to prove they were so big we made her pose holding one for this pic!


* The countdown has begun for our trip to The Bahamas! (It actually started waaay back when for me) Which... by the way... the Ashlee Simpson concert was a joke... I like all kinds of music, but unfortunately she's not on my Ipod or my "need to go see in concert" list! :) We're pretty much ready - got passports for everyone & swimsuits... what else do you need in the Bahamas?? :) I am praying that Hurricane Bertha (I think that's next name on the list) doesn't decide to make an appearance ANYWHERE around that area next week!! :) We leave a week from WEDNESDAY!!

* Field Day is coming up for Rylan. Remember Field Day?? He cleans his desk out tomorrow. OH... I remember that feeling... it was soo exciting b/c I knew that summer was here!! I'm so proud of him and love the little person that he is right now. He is just so truly special and just extraordinary. That is the word that comes to mind.
