"...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint..."

Moving Right Along Monday

Well, after missing a whole week of blogging I'm trying to figure out where to start. Easter at the lakehouse was great - it seems like an eternity ago. I put the slideshow on the side of my blog b/c the time I got the pics onto the slideshow site I didn't have time to actually do a new post. LOL I love the Springtime! I wish I had pics of my Dogwoods and Japanese Maples that are budding out b/c they just gets prettier and prettier every year. We have a lizard friend that basks in the sun in our front window on sunny days. He's brown one day and green the next and the kids don't ever believe me that it's the same lizard, but I'm gonna get some pics of our new pet. It seems like we spend ALOT more time outdoors starting now.

* Lex had her first tennis lesson this last week. She was pumped... and so cute with her pink little racquet. She's taking them with her BFF once a week. I just BUST out laughing when I finally go back and look at my pictures (like this tennis one) b/c they are always as we're getting into the car... on-the-go... I guess that's just the way it goes, but I know I'm not the only one who ends up with their car in the background. I'll work on that! HA!

* Ry had Grandfriends Day at his school this last week and was blessed that both sets of grandparents were able to join him. After visiting his class, having lunch and a few books from the Book Fair (which I had to work) I know he felt pretty special.

*Soccer season is here alright.

Ry hurt his hand last week at the end of practice while him and another teammate were racing to get cones for the coaches. Well, we thought "hmm, we'll watch it and see..." I mean... it would happen on a Friday evening when you can no longer call and "talk to the nurse"... so he played in his game on Sat. and even went fishing. I was thinking... ok... he's still saying it hurts every once in awhile, but he can still use that hand... so I'll give him some Tylenol and we'll move on. Fast forward to today... I'm walking into the grocery store... and my cell phone rings and it was his school calling. "Mrs. Thedford, this is Nurse Miller and Ry has come to see me about his hand... bla, bla, bla, bla he's alright to be at school, but I think you might want to get it checked out..." So, I picked him up early from school and off we went to the doctor and after a few X-rays the verdict was in. In fact, while I've been posting his Doc called. No cast. No fracture. Just bruised really good. wheeeeww... I was thinking that all of our Disney pics would be of Ry with his cast on! 14 more days! Two weeks from today and we'll be smoozing with Mickey and Minnie... Having adventures through Epcot... doing lunch with Cinderella! I wonder if it's changed since I went when I was in THIRD GRADE! You think??? hee hee

*We also celebrated my niece's birthday at lunch yesterday... Madison turned 11!! Why is everyone growing up so fast???!!

* One more thing... you know the group Selah? Well, someone was telling me about a blog that Todd's (the guy that can sing in Selah) wife has. She is about to deliver her FOURTH baby (in about a week I think) and they already know the baby will not live after birth. Just thought you might want to read and pray b/c miracles do happen.

Sorry I tried to pack a week into one post before this next week began!!
