Hump Day

Today is soo chilly outside.... I cannot seem to get warm. I was just in there popping popcorn for Lexie for an after school snack and she says... "people that don't have houses are not fair"... and I said "why?"... she said... "they get to have picnics ALL the time"... I'm laughing outloud just writing this... she cracks me up. She must have been thinking about having a picnic... I don't know. I'm guessing that her thoughts may have stemmed from the other night when BT & I showed the kids a bridge that homeless people have to sleep under on cold nights.

Last week she had her "show week" at gymnastics. Well, the class started out big and slowly but surely dwindled down to about three or four girls by the time it ended... they didn't care. Especially Lex & Zoe b/c all they cared about was being together. Here's a little clip that BT took of her during "show week."

Ry, on the other hand, has started Upwards Basketball. He loves basketball. In fact, I don't know many little boys that don't. :) It's too cute. Here he is hoopin' it up at his game he had on Sat. At this age, they all tend to be a bit of a... well, there's no nice way of saying it... but a "ball hog" so it can be interesting! HA Ry is numero uno in the clip!


I just see my children doing these activities & think I'm so thankful that we all have healthy bodies & are able to do these things with ease. Let us, let ME... not take for granted that God gave us healthy bodies & our kids to remind us to run around, have picnics :), & enjoy life!!
