Words for Wednesday

It's been a wonderful week so far. Practices here & there... homework every night... BT is going dove hunting at the deer lease this weekend, so I'll be playing the "single mom" role for a couple of days as it is not unusual this time of year. :) Should I say "like father, like son"... Ry got his very own 22 for his birthday that he cannot WAIT to shoot. What 8 year old boy gets a gun for his b-day? His love for deer season/hunting is as great as his daddy's. In fact, the other morning on the way to school it was perfect outside so we rolled down the windows and put the sunroof back. When I pulled up to a stop sign Ry said, "Mommy, it smells like the deer lease right now." The funny thing is... I sniffed and knew exactly what he was talking about. Now that is weird. LOL

Here's his first deer that he got last year... and yes, b/c it is "part of the experience" (dating back to the Indian's I swear) that is blood from the deer that he has wiped on his cheeks. Gosh, I hope PETA is not reading this blog. :) That's our little hunter in training!

When I played the Michael Jackson song (that's on my blog right now) for BT it took us back to the 80's. We started thinking back to that time. We had to do some searching for this guy to remember what exactly he sounded like? Do you remember his name? You're crazy if you don't!!

Remember Spuds McKenzie too? LOL We were traveling back in time. :)
