V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! Victory! Victory! That's our cry!
It was tied, both teams had won 6 games each. So,we played a "tie breaker" game... and WON that 7-5! So... pretty much...like my second song says it... as of now - I don't like to brag, but we are the CHAMPIONS!
Now, looking back on the end of the game... where delirousness & hunger took over you might have thought "those four people don't look like champions". In fact, if I do recall... a few of us even swung at the ball and missed (or whiffed) it completely. Serves kinda got to where they didn't want to go over for a couple of us. One of us had their racquet turned sideways as they tried to hit the ball at one point. The highlight was by the one on the court that played tennis in high school - they tried to slam the ball down (b/c they were at the net) at the other champions... I mean... team... and the ball somehow bounced off their racquet and onto their own HEAD! HAA Still wondering how that happened! Bt & I did sport the matching red, white & blue wristbands (that we got for the kids at The Harlem Globetrotters game) and he even added Ry's headband for an added touch.
Two more days until my second grader is official!!

Alright, alright, you beat us, we admit defeat. We stunk it up last night! It was the sweat bands...not so much intimidating as halarious, but a distraction all the same!
We had a great time and are ready for a rematch anytime!
She looks just like sarah michelle gellar! but much CUTIER:)
